About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PySpark Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join a leading client project. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in big data processing, a deep understanding of Spark with Python (PySpark), and the ability to work in an onsite environment in Pune.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using PySpark and Apache Spark.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and architects to process and transform large-scale data sets.
• Optimize performance of Spark jobs and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation logic.
• Integrate data solutions with existing systems and tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and Spark jobs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with PySpark and large-scale data processing.
• Strong programming skills in Python and working knowledge of Spark Core, Spark SQL, and DataFrames.
• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or other big data tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed computing concepts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
