Spare Parts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
• Maintain optimal stock levels based on service center needs and historical trends.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with records.
• Monitor parts usage and generate reports for forecasting and planning.
• Procurement:
• Source parts from authorized suppliers, negotiating prices and terms.
• Ensure parts meet manufacturer and quality specifications.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and monitor supplier performance.
• Team Supervision:
• Lead, train, and supervise the parts department staff.
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure team adherence to company standards.
• Coordination with Other Departments:
• Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure accurate parts availability.
• Support quick turnaround of service orders by ensuring timely parts delivery.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate records of stock transactions, purchase orders, and supplier invoices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Customer Service:
• Handle inquiries related to parts pricing, availability, and warranty.
• Support front-office operations with quick access to needed parts for walk-in customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in automotive parts management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle parts, supplier networks, and inventory systems.
• Familiarity with automotive DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and ERP tools.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
