Create 3D models, part drawings, and assembly designs using Solid Edge CAD software.
Develop design concepts and detailed engineering drawings based on customer or internal specifications.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams for design feasibility and accuracy.
Modify existing designs to improve performance, reduce cost, or meet updated requirements.
Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and other technical documentation.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for design-related discussions or custom parts.
Support manufacturing during prototype development, testing, and final production.
Update and maintain proper version control and drawing revisions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
1–5 years of experience in mechanical design using Solid Edge.
Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, machining processes, and fabrication techniques.
Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
