Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute unit tests to achieve appropriate coverage.
• Document all system functions as test cases in TestRail.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated end-to-end smoke tests using the Cypress framework.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand testing requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in software applications.
• Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to complement automated tests.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback to the development team.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.

Must-Have Technical Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in the Cypress framework or any framework for test automation.
• Strong understanding of unit testing principles and practices.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for writing test scripts.
• Familiarity with TestRail for test case management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end testing and smoke testing principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
