Role Overview

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of the server-side infrastructure for Arctan’s applications. Your work will directly impact the performance and scalability of our real-time speech refinement AI.

Specifically, you’ll:

• Build and optimise server-side logic.
• Design APIs that connect our frontend to the backend magic.
• Optimise existing backend systems for scalability and low latency.
• Solve tough debugging problems.

This is a paid internship.

What we’re looking for:

You don’t have to be an expert yet, but you should have:

• Strong problem-solving skills, paired with a passion for learning.
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.
