The Software Engineer role involves design, development, and support of software products that support internal projects which in turn facilitate the lifecycle of our external facing products and services. Additionally, this role entails implementation and support of the infrastructure used to deliver these internal software products as well as the products of partner teams.

As a Software Engineer, You Will Be Responsible For

• Defining, developing, and supporting internal software products.
• Implementing and supporting an internal Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform comprised of Kubernetes and OpenStack.
• Managing the underlying bare metal infrastructure and ancillary services that support the IaaS platform.
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Have 2+ years of experience in developing applications using Java and Spring Framework, administering Linux systems
• Have 2+ years of experience working with container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Have experience with programming in Python/Go, or similar languages, and implementing REST and GraphQL clients and servers.
• Be familiar with OpenStack, Ceph, and related projects, experience with databases like MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL systems
• Have proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and all aspects of SDLC
