Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to manage the Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC) of Samsung ultrasound machines. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown support, installation, calibration, and technical troubleshooting of ultrasound systems. Key Responsibilities:

1. AMC/CMC Service Management:

Execute routine preventive maintenance as per AMC/CMC schedules.

Perform system health checks, calibration, software updates, and functional testing.

Ensure uptime and performance of installed Samsung ultrasound machines across client sites.

Maintain accurate service records and generate timely reports.

2. Technical Troubleshooting & Repair:

Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues in 2D/3D/4D ultrasound machines.

Replace defective components and perform board-level repairs when necessary.

Respond to emergency breakdown calls within defined TAT (Turnaround Time).

Escalate complex cases to senior technical support or OEM when needed.

3. Installation & Configuration:

Install and configure Samsung ultrasound machines at hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers.

Conduct demonstration and basic user training to operators and radiologists.

Ensure systems are compliant with regulatory standards and hospital protocols.

4. Client Support & Communication:

Build and maintain strong relationships with biomedical teams, doctors, and hospital management.

Communicate technical updates, preventive care tips, and AMC/CMC renewals clearly to clients.

Coordinate with internal sales/service team for spare parts, upgrades, and warranty handling.

5. Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain service logs, preventive maintenance reports, and breakdown records.

Follow safety guidelines and comply with OEM service standards and medical equipment regulations.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Biomedical, Instrumentation, or related field.

2–5 years of hands-on experience in servicing ultrasound machines, preferably Samsung models.

Strong technical knowledge of ultrasound modalities (B-Mode, Doppler, Elastography, etc.).

Proficiency in using service tools, diagnostic software, and calibration equipment.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel for field service visits.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience with Samsung healthcare equipment (e.g., HS50, HS40, RS80A, UGEO series).

Exposure to handling both standalone and cart-based ultrasound systems.

Experience working with hospitals, diagnostic labs, and OEMs under AMC/CMC contracts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
