Senior UI/UX Designer – Core Game Design

About the Role: We’re hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer with deep experience in core gaming UI design. You’ll be responsible for building high-quality, immersive interfaces that support gameplay across multiple genres—especially action, strategy, and multiplayer games. Your role will be key in translating game mechanics into intuitive HUDs, menus, and interaction systems. Key Responsibilities: Design core UI elements: HUDs, skill bars, minimaps, inventories, leaderboards, lobbies, and in-game shops.Develop wireframes, flowcharts, and prototypes that support gameplay mechanics and player progression.Ensure UI design enhances clarity, usability, and player immersion during active gameplay.Collaborate with game designers, developers, and artists to ensure UI fits the game’s design language.Create responsive layouts for PC and console platforms, optimizing for controller and keyboard/mouse input.Maintain and evolve a design system for scalable UI assets across levels and game modes.Iterate based on gameplay feedback, user testing, and telemetry data. Requirements: 5+ years of UI/UX design experience in core or mid-core games (MOBA, FPS, RPG, strategy, or PvP).Strong portfolio demonstrating game HUDs, interaction flows, and UI assets.Mastery in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator.Understanding of Unity or Unreal Engine UI integration workflows.Solid knowledge of user psychology and how interface design impacts game flow and competitiveness.
