Senior Test Engineer

Timings:

Responsibilities:

• Participation in

  Test Scenarios and Test Case identification/authoring

• Should handle the

  Test plan

• Understanding the business and

  Creation & Maintenance of Test Scenarios and Test Cases

• Identification and Maintenance of Test Data
• Should actively work on

  Web, Mobile, and API Testing

• Proactively identify functional, technical, and integration-related defects.
• Perform preliminary troubleshooting of defects to facilitate quick resolution
• Effectively communicate issues and risks in addition to daily testing status to the Product Manager
• Delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Successfully multi-task across project and non-project assignments, delivering on time by the priorities identified by the QA Manager.

Qualifications:

• Required:

  5+ years

  of experience in software testing is preferred
• Strong experience in performance testing of platforms and

  APIs

  using JMeter, Locust, open-source frameworks, or custom tools built in-house.
• Experience with analyzing test results, identifying performance defects, and making recommendations for resolution
• Experience integrating performance tests with Continuous Delivery pipelines
• Work experience in a full software development lifecycle and exposure to change & defect management
