Senior Backend Developer – Node.js, NestJS

Experience Required: 3–6 Years

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who specializes in Node.js and NestJS to design and build robust, scalable, and secure backend services. You will work closely with our product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver high-performance applications. This role is perfect for someone who loves clean architecture, scalable systems, and modern backend frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop scalable backend solutions using NestJS (TypeScript) and Node.js.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure high standards of code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
• Integrate with third-party services and internal microservices.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, optimizing queries and managing data integrity.
• Implement security best practices in APIs, authentication (JWT, OAuth2), and data handling.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams throughout the software development life cycle.
• Mentor junior developers and guide them on technical challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience in NestJS and Node.js (minimum 2+ years working with NestJS in production).
• Excellent proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Strong understanding of scalable application architecture, performance tuning, and security best practices.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
