Job Description

SAP Project System (PS) Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and implement SAP PS functionalities including WBS, networks, activities, milestones, cost planning, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FI/CO, MM, SD, and HR for end-to-end project execution.
Perform requirement gathering, process mapping, and GAP analysis with business stakeholders.
Develop and execute test plans (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT).
Provide training and documentation to end-users and support teams.
Handle incident management and support activities in production environment.
Work on integration scenarios with SAP PPM, CPM, and Fiori apps (optional but preferred).
Participate in system upgrades, migrations (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA), and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or IT.
Minimum 6
years
of hands-on experience in SAP PS configuration.
Strong understanding of WBS, network planning, cost planning & budgeting, and billing processes.
Experience with
S/4HANA
(preferred).
Good understanding of project accounting and integration with SAP FI/CO and SD.
Ability to design functional specs for custom developments.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience in
SAP PPM
or
CPM
modules.
Knowledge of
Fiori apps
related to Project Systems.
SAP PS Certification is a plus.
Experience working in
Agile/Waterfall
project environments.
