SAP Basis Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. The ideal

candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, focusing

on L1 and L2 application support. This role involves maintaining and optimizing SAP

systems, providing technical support, and ensuring the stability and performance of

our SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

 System Administration: Administer and configure SAP systems,

landscapes, and modules.

 Performance Monitoring: Monitor and manage SAP systems' performance,

availability, and capacity.

 Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve SAP issues at L1 and L2

levels.

 System Maintenance: Install, patch, and upgrade SAP systems.

 User Management: Manage SAP users, authorizations, and profiles.

 Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation for SAP

systems.

 Collaboration: Work closely with the application team to support and

implement application changes.

 System Backups: Perform system copies, SAP system backups, and

disaster recovery tests.

 Security: Ensure system security and data integrity.

Qualifications:

 Experience: 5-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.

 Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP system administration, installation, and

migration.

 Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work

collaboratively in a team environment.

 Certifications: SAP Basis or related certifications are preferred.

 Knowledge: Familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Windows) and

database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).

Preferred Skills:

 Experience with SAP HANA and NetWeaver.

 Knowledge of SAP tools such as SAP Solution Manager and SAP Transport

Management System (TMS).

 Familiarity with cloud technologies and automation scripting (e.g., Bash,

Python).
