Sales & Marketing Manager

Job Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our gelato business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting, marketing, and selling our premium range of gelatos to retail outlets, restaurants, cafes, hotels, and direct customers. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, a passion for food and frozen desserts, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Key Responsibilities:Promote and sell gelato products to new and existing clients (retail stores, HoReCa, supermarkets, etc.) Identify potential sales opportunities and develop strategies to convert leads Conduct cold calls, field visits, and product demonstrations/sampling Maintain a deep understanding of product offerings, features, and benefits Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within company guidelines Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback Maintain sales records, prepare regular reports, and update CRM systems Attend food shows, trade exhibitions, and brand activations as required Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction Requirements:Proven experience in food/beverage/FMCG sales (experience in ice cream or gelato sales is a strong advantage) Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Must be comfortable with fieldwork and local travel Strong organizational and follow-up skills Basic knowledge of sales tracking tools, spreadsheets, and CRM systems Passion for premium food products and customer service Valid driver’s license (if travel is involved) Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality 1–3 years of experience in B2B/B2C food sales Existing contacts in the hospitality or retail industry is a plus Compensation:Base salary + Sales commission/incentives Travel reimbursement (if applicable) Employee discount on products
