Job Description: To ensure a safe working environment by developing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols, training employees, and monitoring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.The specific responsibilities of the position holder will be (though not restricted to) the following:

• Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and practices across the site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Organize and conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and drills.
• Maintain updated safety records, incident logs, and audit reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company standards.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
• Promote a safety-first culture among workers and contractors.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in industrial/construction safety.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, safety audits, and legal compliance.
