Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and operationally talented Airport Store Manager to lead our retail operations within a bustling airport terminal. This critical role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's performance, with a strong emphasis on driving sales, ensuring strict operational compliance, and cultivating a high-performing team capable of delivering outstanding service to a diverse, time-sensitive customer base. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-security environment and possess exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage P&L of multiple Retail Stores - at Pune, PNQ Airport, BLR Airport

· Manage Retail Frontend Teams at the Retail Stores to provide excellent customer service, explain and sell products and achieve sales targets

· Manage relationships with Airport Authorities & Retail Concessionaires to Manage the stores

· Analyse daily and weekly sales data to Manage and achieve sales targets

· Train Retail Teams on a regular basis - on products, product stories, ethics, discipline, getting customer reviews and Corporate leads

· Manage the team with empathy, training and support and motivate them to achieve and surpass targets and build a service oriented brand

· Analyse sales data, understanding passenger traffic patterns, and discerning customer demographics to identify prime opportunities for revenue maximization.

· Collaborate closely with marketing and merchandising teams to implement effective promotions and ensure product placements resonate strongly with travellers.

· Set, clearly communicate, and diligently track individual and team sales KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), providing regular feedback and making strategic adjustments to ensure targets are consistently met within the high-volume, transient customer flow characteristic of an airport.

· Recruit, onboard, train, and continuously develop a top-tier sales force capable of delivering efficient and exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.

· Foster a highly motivated and disciplined team environment, ensuring strict adherence to all airport and company policies while relentlessly pursuing sales goals.

· Implement ongoing sales training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions that focus on quick transactions, effective suggestive selling, and efficiently handling the diverse needs of a global customer base.

· Ensure strict adherence to all airport security regulations, customs procedures, and operational protocols.

· Oversee daily store operations, encompassing opening and closing procedures, meticulous cash handling, precise inventory management, and maintaining the highest standards of visual merchandising.

· Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and implementing robust loss prevention strategies within the often-tight logistical constraints of an airport.

Ensure that all team members embody the brand values and deliver consistent, professional messaging to a global customer base

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.

· 3-5 years of progressive experience in a retail management role, with significant experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; airport retail experience is highly preferred.

· Demonstrated success in leading, motivating, and developing sales teams to consistently achieve and surpass targets in a demanding operational setting is essential.

· Thorough understanding of airport operations, security procedures, and compliance requirements is also critical.

· Strong analytical skills, enabling the interpretation of sales and operational data to drive performance.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring diverse teams and interacting effectively with various stakeholders.

· Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and sales analytics tools is expected.

· Exceptional adaptability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by airport operating hours, are crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
