QA – Automation Intern (Fresher/Intern)

Location: 5th Floor, Gamma Block, SSPDL, Alpha City, OMR, Navalur, Chennai
Duration: 3 to 6 months (Immediate start)

Role Overview

We’re seeking enthusiastic freshers or interns to dive into QA Automation testing web/mobile applications, writing and maintaining automation scripts, integrating tests into CI pipelines, validating backend data, and reporting defects. Join us to build strong automation foundations, mentorship-driven learning, and real-world experience.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python)
• Incorporate API testing using Postman or REST‑Assured
• Write and maintain Selenium/Appium‑based tests for web and mobile applications
• Validate backend data using SQL, analyze test failures, and log defects efficiently
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments—attend daily stand-ups, participate in sprint planning
• Assist in configuring test environments and test frameworks
• Communicate effectively with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure quality outcomes

Eligibility

• Recent graduates or final-year students in B.Tech, B.E, B.Sc, BCA, or equivalent
• Able to start immediately and commit to 2-year bond post-selection
• Comfortable working full-time on-site at OMR, Chennai
