Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing purchasing strategies:Creating and executing plans to optimize the procurement process, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Sourcing and selecting suppliers:Identifying potential vendors, evaluating their capabilities, and negotiating contracts to secure the best prices and terms.
• Managing vendor relationships:Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Negotiating contracts and pricing:Securing favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers through effective negotiation.
• Managing inventory and procurement:Coordinating with inventory control to determine needs, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Tracking and analyzing expenditures:Monitoring purchasing costs, identifying areas for potential savings, and reporting on procurement activities.
• Ensuring quality and compliance:Verifying that purchased goods and services meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Managing a team of purchasing staff:Supervising, training, and mentoring purchasing staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Maintaining accurate records:Keeping detailed records of all purchasing transactions, contracts, and vendor information.
• Staying updated on market trends:Monitoring industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing fluctuations to inform purchasing decisions.
• Collaborating with other departments:Working with other departments, such as finance, production, and engineering, to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement activities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
