Location: Manjeri Company: Status Roofing – Kerala’s No.1 Tensile Roofing Solution Provider Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Purchasing & Procurement Languages Required: Tamil and Hindi (fluency is a must) Job Summary: Status Roofing is seeking a skilled and proactive Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations and supplier coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills in Tamil and Hindi , and the ability to manage purchase processes efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Handle day-to-day purchasing of roofing materials and accessories. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate prices, timelines, and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement. Coordinate with the project and logistics team for material planning and delivery. Track inventory and forecast requirements based on project schedules. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of purchases, bills, and payments. Identify new suppliers and maintain a healthy supplier network. Travel when necessary to vendor locations across South India. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing & procurement . Must be fluent in Tamil and Hindi (Malayalam is an added advantage). Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
