Languages Required: Tamil and Hindi (fluency is a must)

Job Summary:

Status Roofing is seeking a skilled and proactive Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations and supplier coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills in Tamil and Hindi, and the ability to manage purchase processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day purchasing of roofing materials and accessories.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, timelines, and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with the project and logistics team for material planning and delivery.
• Track inventory and forecast requirements based on project schedules.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of purchases, bills, and payments.
• Identify new suppliers and maintain a healthy supplier network.
• Travel when necessary to vendor locations across South India.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing & procurement.
• Must be fluent in Tamil and Hindi (Malayalam is an added advantage).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
• Basic knowledge of roofing materials or construction products preferred.
• Willingness to travel for vendor meetings and supplier coordination.

Salary: 20k to 30k.
