Project Engineer – Solar



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, designing, and execution of solar PV projects (ground-mounted).
  • Conduct site surveys, feasibility assessments, and load analysis.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities on-site.
  • Ensure adherence to technical standards, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, BOQs, reports, and handover files.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and post-commissioning.
  • Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and material planning.
  • Support procurement and vendor management for project-related requirements.
  • Liaise with DISCOMs or statutory bodies for approvals and net metering processes.


Key Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical components.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle and construction safety norms.
  • Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams and layout drawings.
  • Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.
