PLC Engineer (Remote – Immediate Joiner Only)

We're hiring an experienced PLC Engineer with deep expertise in Siemens technologies to support and lead key automation projects. This is a remote-only position with the potential for future relocation and travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Siemens PLC programs using

  TIA Portal

  and

  Step 7 (S7 series)

• Configure and develop

  HMI/SCADA

  solutions (WinCC or equivalent)
• Collaborate across disciplines (electrical, mechanical, software) to deliver fully integrated systems
• Conduct diagnostics, testing, and

  remote commissioning

  of control systems
• Create and maintain project documentation (FDS, testing protocols, user manuals)
• Provide remote support to optimize post-deployment performance

Required Experience & Skills

• 6+ years

  of hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs
• Proficient in

  TIA Portal, Step 7, and WinCC

• Deep understanding of

  industrial communication protocols

  (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
• Ability to interpret

  electrical schematics

  and

  P&IDs

• Experience in

  automating high-volume manufacturing or logistics systems

• Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal)

Nice to Have

• Exposure to

  robotic systems

  ,

  safety PLCs

  , or

  MES integration

• Experience with

  secure VPN remote commissioning

• Flexibility for future onsite work or relocation
