Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential, along with a proactive approach, ownership mindset, quick adaptability to new technologies, and a problem-solving orientation. **Your Responsibilities:** As a Technical Consultant, you will be involved in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activities, assuming the following responsibilities: - Act as a Senior Technical team member in Managed Service activities, providing solutions and support for client issues in the production environment, coordinating with Oracle teams and offshore teams for related tasks. - Offer technical services for issue troubleshooting and resolution from offshore in collaboration with the onsite team. - Engage with Oracle Global Support and Product engineering teams as required for resolving client issues. - Provide on-call support for high severity incidents. - Adhere to defined standards, tools, and processes to ensure deliverables meet the quality expectations of Oracle and the client. - Collaborate with stakeholders in projects for the implementation of patches, fixes, etc. - Manage Customer Relationship effectively and address any initial escalations from clients. - Maintain comprehensive documentation in alignment with agreed standards and processes. - Ensure compliance with the Change Control Process of Oracle and the client, as well as audit and compliance requirements. - Deliver quality code and translate business requirements into technology or design specifications. - Plan, manage, and communicate project progress, meeting milestones, and ensuring project momentum. - Conduct proper handover and knowledge transfer at the end of each assignment. - Submit timesheets and expenses to Oracle and clients in a timely manner. **Your Qualifications:** To excel in this role, you should possess: - Experience in end-to-end Support activities covering areas such as Coding, Unit testing, Test cycle execution, migrations, and Integrations for Oracle Banking products. - Demonstrated ability to lead medium to large technical teams in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activities. - Proficiency in software programming languages including Core Java, J2EE, Rest API, JavaScript, XML, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database. - Knowledge of Release management, Source control tools, Issue Tracking, and client interaction. - Familiarity with software deployment, troubleshooting on Application Server software, Oracle Weblogic, and Oracle Database performance analysis. - Expertise in translating customer business requirements into actionable solutions. - Good understanding of banking terminologies, concepts, and processes. - Strong team management skills, proficiency in IT tools, and effective communication and documentation capabilities in English. **Secondary Skills:** - Exposure to Banking Domain and Functional knowledge. - Familiarity with software development processes, DevOps tools, Testing tools, and latest technologies in Banking. - Hands-on experience with Core Banking products, particularly Oracle Banking Platform or Oracle FLEXCUBE suite. - Experience in the development, implementation, and support of Interfaces, Batch operations, and issue resolution. **Experience:** - 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in development, implementation, or support of core banking applications. **Educational and Other Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent qualification. **Work Environment:** - Willingness to work offshore and travel to client locations. - Readiness to pursue Technical certifications related to Oracle Banking Products as needed. - Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and challenging environment. - Strong team player. - Availability to work from the office/ODC three days a week. **Job Location:** Bangalore/Mumbai **Career Level:** IC3,
