Role Summary

Looking for an experienced Oracle DBA (L2) to support daily BAU operations, incidents, RFCs, and performance tuning. You will work on Oracle RAC, Data Guard, backups, patching, and troubleshooting in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and pluggable databases (12c/19c+)
• Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and tuning (AWR, ADDR, SQL Profiling)
• Handle backup/recovery using RMAN, EXPDP/IMPDP
• Monitor DB health, manage objects, and ensure SLA compliance
• Support high severity issues, DR, and performance optimization
• Follow ITIL processes and maintain documentation

Must-Have Skills

• Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard
• Oracle 12c/19c PDB & CDB
• Performance tuning & patching
• Backup utilities: RMAN, EXPDP/IMPDP
• Shell/Python scripting basics
• Good communication & problem-solving

Good to Have

• Exadata/ExaCC, GoldenGate
• Oracle EBS experience
• OCI, DBaaS knowledge
• ITIL certification, Banking domain experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in IT
• 5–8 years of Oracle DBA experience
• Certifications in Oracle RAC/OCI preferred
