Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations professional to manage and optimize our logistics and container handling operations. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in operations, with a strong focus on process improvement, team management, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role requires collaboration across departments to enhance service delivery, streamline workflows, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily logistics, container handling, trailer maintenance, Reach Stacker maintenance and transportation operations to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process optimizations for enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and support operational teams, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Maintenance of MIS: Maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) to track operational metrics, performance, and compliance.
  • Compliance Tracking: Ensure timely renewal and compliance for vehicle fitness, insurance, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Procurement: Issue Purchase Orders (PO) for required parts and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries.
  • Customer Service: Work closely with the client support team to meet customer needs and maintain high service standards.
  • Management: Overall ICD / CFS management & complete maintenance of equipment, management of branch staff, labour & customer coordination.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–10 years in operations roles, preferably within logistics or transportation.

Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, proficiency in operations software, and understanding of safety regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
