Role Description

We’re looking for a New Product Development (NPD) Intern to join our team in Mumbai. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role offering hands-on exposure to the end-to-end process of launching a new beauty product — from idea to shelf. While the intern will not formulate products directly, they will play a key role in coordinating with multiple internal teams (R&D, packaging design, procurement, printing, etc.) and managing timelines to ensure seamless product development. The intern will also support market research and trend spotting to help shape our innovation pipeline.

Responsibilities

– Coordinate and follow up with R&D, packaging, and sourcing teams for timely progress

– Track development timelines and ensure milestones are met across departments

– Source and evaluate new primary packaging options in collaboration with procurement

– Collaborate with packaging design and printing teams to finalize visual assets

– Research and identify trending formats, ingredients, and product concepts globally

– Assist in preparing product briefs, benchmarking reports, and competitor analysis

– Help maintain documentation for compliance, testing, and product specifications

Qualifications
