Location:


a. Role & Responsibilities

1

a) Ensure accurate and timely accounting and maintenance of the books of accounts of the State branch in accordance with the organisation’s systems and guidelines.

b) Efficiently manage the funds of the State branch.

c) Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines related to finance and accounting systems.

d) Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions related to sponsors' financial or accounting procedures/guidelines as stipulated in agreements, MoUs, or other project documents.

a) Scrutinize ledger accounts and take corrective actions as needed.

b) Allocate unallocated expenses appropriately.

c) Prepare utilisation certificates for projects.

d) Prepare the State Unit Balance Sheet and Income & Expenditure Statements.

a) Ensure planning for internal and statutory audits is in place, that they are conducted regularly, and that audit observations are complied with.

b) Conduct any special audits as required, following established guidelines.

c) Submit timely financial reports to statutory authorities, government agencies, management, sponsors, project leaders, and the head office.

d) Ensure internal checks and controls are established and maintained.

4. Statutory Compliances:

a) Submit timely financial reports to statutory authorities, government agencies, management, and sponsors.

b) Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and standing orders.

a) Submit financial MIS reports in accordance with the procedures laid down by the organisation, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

a) Compile and check organizational and project budgets in alignment with the work plan submitted by technical and other teams.

b)  Prepare and submit the "Budget-Actual-Variance" statement for organisational and project budgets.

7.

a) Purchase Committee: As a member of the Purchase Committee, ensure procurement systems are followed according to organisational norms.

b) Staff Welfare Committee: As a member of the Staff Welfare Committee, ensure that staff welfare-related facilities are provided in accordance with organisational norms.

c) Management Committee: As a member of the Management Committee, prepare minutes of meetings and circulate them along with action taken reports.

d) Investment Committee: As a member of the Investment Committee, prepare proposals, conduct meetings, and prepare minutes of meetings for submission and review as per the delegation of authority.

e) Liaison: Liaise with banks, government departments and sponsors as required.

f) Other assigned work: Undertake any other tasks assigned by the senior management of the Organisation.
