Role Summary

Design Engineer – Mould Design

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop

  PET blow moulds

  based on project specifications.
• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams for design feasibility and improvement.
• Conduct mould validation, testing, and technical documentation.
• Optimise mould performance for durability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Handle customer-specific mould customisations and troubleshoot design issues.
• Maintain compliance with industry and safety standards during the design process.

Desired Profile

• Qualification:

  B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience:

  8–10 years in

  mould design

  , preferably in blow moulding or packaging machinery

• Software Skills:

  Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design tools
• Strong knowledge of

  materials, machining, and plastic processing principles

• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and coordination abilities to work in cross-functional teams
