EKAM Foundation is a not-for-profit NGO dedicated to providing quality healthcare to underprivileged children and mothers in India. The organization aims to reduce infant and maternal mortality rates significantly. EKAM focuses on neonates and infants to supplement the public health care system and bridge gaps within the RMNCH+A (reproductive, maternal, newborn child, and adolescent health) arena. Over the past fifteen years, EKAM has supported primary health centers, district hospitals, and tertiary care government hospitals through training, equipment maintenance, transportation of sick infants, and provision of lab test support, drugs, and medicines.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer based in Tamil Nadu, India, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans for various projects, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with project objectives. They will also collaborate with program teams, conduct field visits, and provide recommendations for program improvements based on data insights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, and data analysis
• Strong skills in report writing, project management, and compliance monitoring
• Proficiency in using statistical software and database management tools
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in the healthcare or NGO sector is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field
