Job Title : Monitoring Engineer Location : Hyderabad Employment Type : Full-Time - Payroll Experience : 2+ Years in AWS Monitoring | 3+ Years in IT/System Administration Role Summary Aderant is seeking a proactive and skilled Monitoring Engineer to join our cloud operations team. With a growing and diverse cloud portfolio across multiple providers, our focus is on operational excellence through platform observability and responsive incident remediation. In this role, you will help elevate our monitoring strategies, ensuring high service availability, reliability, and rapid issue resolution across our production systems. Key Responsibilities Analyze system and application architectures to identify dependencies, failure points, and provide tailored monitoring recommendations. Develop, implement, and maintain observability tools to monitor infrastructure, application health, and platform performance. Actively monitor and troubleshoot service-impacting incidents, executing triage and predefined runbooks for resolution. Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders during critical incidents and recurring issues. Lead the adoption of monitoring best practices across teams by delivering training, documentation, and tool demonstrations. Consult senior engineers and management on observability strategies and performance metrics. Define and continuously improve monitoring policies, processes, and documentation. Optimize observability costs using architectural insights and operational reporting. Required Skills & Qualifications AWS Monitoring Tools : Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Log Insights. Windows Administration : 3+ years of experience managing Windows-based systems. Proficient in analyzing distributed systems, particularly web application architectures. Intermediate PowerShell scripting skills for automation and remediation. Solid understanding of key infrastructure components : IIS, SQL Server, File Services. Familiarity with core AWS resources including EC2, S3, ELB, EBS, and related services. Demonstrated experience improving monitoring frameworks or processes in a mid-to-large scale environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Capable of working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with VMWare environments. Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) principles and IT operations. Prior experience in cloud-native monitoring solutions and incident management workflows.
