Job Description Understanding of payments and banking domain fundamentals required Designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts using Cypress for web applications. Ensuring the functional quality and stability of web-based systems across different browsers and devices. Contributing to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes. Assisting in root cause analysis and providing detailed documentation of defects and test results. Supporting test execution in CI/CD environments and integrating test automation into pipelines. Knowledge on ticket tools such as JIRA must. Participate in critical design activities to assure that the product under development meets requirements and can be effectively tested. Effective at quickly understanding technology and explaining it in non-technical terms. Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with developers to resolve issues as and when required. Analysing trends of bugs and getting them fixed. Be aware of product updates, ux trends and new technologies. Use multiples platforms like JIRA, Git, AWS, Jenkins, firebase, Grafana etc. Establish and maintain productive relationships with developers, product managers and other team members. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet the deadlines Technical Skills And Experience Tech graduates with 3 to 4 years of experience. Strong hands-on experience in Cypress for web automation testing. Proficiency in JavaScript. Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a plus. Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle, QA methodologies, and best practices. Experience with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools. Familiarity with version control tools like Git. Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Knowledge of cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack. Good debugging and problem-solving skills using browser dev tools. Maintain a high level of quality while working under pressure and deadlines. Strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, responsibility & accountability Analytical and problem-solving skills.
