Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser Manager to lead the end-to-end merchandising function—from product development and vendor management to costing, production planning, and post-sales analysis. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and the domestic fashion market, with proven experience in handling multiple suppliers and working under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive product development from concept to final sample in coordination with design and production teams.
• Manage vendor sourcing, negotiation, and coordination for fabric, trims, and finished garments.
• Plan and execute production schedules in line with delivery timelines.
• Prepare accurate costing sheets and pricing strategies to meet margin targets.
• Monitor inventory flow, analyze sales trends, and recommend replenishments or markdowns.
• Collaborate with supply chain, QC, and warehouse teams for seamless execution.
• Maintain strong relationships and communication with multiple vendors across locations.
• Troubleshoot order delays, quality issues, or material shortfalls efficiently.
• Stay updated on textile trends, fabric types, finishes, and garment construction techniques.
• Ensure timely approvals, production tracking, and buyer communication.
• Provide market insights on domestic retail trends, pricing, and consumer behavior.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Technology, Apparel Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the domestic garment market.
• Strong knowledge of fabric types, trims, textile processes, and garment construction.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Proficient in Excel, TNA tracking, costing tools, and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors, fast turnarounds, and deadline-driven environments.
• Analytical mindset with experience in sales and inventory performance reviews.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
