Job Summary:

MEP Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for MEP materials and services.
• Collaborate with project and engineering teams to forecast procurement needs and align with project timelines and budgets.

Vendor Sourcing & Management

• Identify and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers for MEP components.
• Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing agreements.
• Maintain and nurture strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Monitor MEP inventory levels and place timely orders to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Manage procurement budgets and implement cost control strategies to optimize spending.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all MEP materials meet internal quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
• Conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations and ensure compliance with the Oberoi Group’s safety and quality policies.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate procurement records including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
• Generate regular procurement reports highlighting cost savings, vendor performance, and lead time analysis.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in MEP procurement, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High attention to detail, with an analytical and organized approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
