MEP Designer

Job Description

Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled MEP Projects Designer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system designs using Autodesk Revit (MEP) or similar BIM software. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating accurate and coordinated MEP drawings, supporting design and construction teams across various commercial and residential projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) system drawings and models using Revit MEP , AutoCAD MEP , or equivalent. Create and update layouts, schematics, and sections for HVAC, lighting, power, water, drainage, and fire protection systems. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines for clash-free design models. Assist in the preparation of design documentation including BOQs, schedules, and as-built drawings. Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into models and drawings. Maintain drawing standards and ensure all work complies with project specifications, codes, and standards. Support engineers in load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing (using tools like HAP, DIALux, etc., if required). Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. 2–3 years of relevant experience in MEP designs Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and any other BIM coordination tools is an advantage. Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction workflows. Familiarity with local/international codes (ASHRAE, NEC, IPC, etc.). Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Autodesk Revit (MEP) or similar BIM software. Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
