Key Responsibilities
Perform engineering analysis under general supervisionDesign or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervisionPerform and document engineering tests under general supervisionGenerate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release under general supervisionCoordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex technical issuesTroubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficultly under general supervisionImplement concepts of moderate product issues and mechanical solutions of moderate difficultyMay be responsible for the design, development and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering with 7-10 years of experience

- Create Design Concepts for sheet metal parts.
- Create detailed drawings per ASME standards.
- Knowledge in packaging of electrical and Electronic component packaging in Power distribution modules.
- Good knowledge in Sheet metal fabrication, welding and Rivetting methodologies.
- Hand calculation, knowledge of Sheetmetal standards
- Knowledgeable in standard part selection for sheet metal parts, fasteners and other OEMs for packaging per UL508A standards
- Hands-on using GD&T symbols in detail drawings.
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems and Industrial control Panel.
- Hands-on in CAD tools including UG NX, AutoCAD and Team Center environment.
- Identifying mechanical interlocks & different system Safety requirements
- Working knowledge of relevant standards i.e. NFPA70, NFPA79, Semi S2, S8, F47 and UL508A etc.
- Good in communication, Collaborative mindset.
Preferred
:
- General understanding Electrical OEMs.
- Hands-on or understanding structural analysis, Thermal management and air flow calculation.
- Exposure to DFx related activity.
- Hands on with 3D cable routing.
- Exposure to proto build and validation activities at supplier location.
