Job Description

Position Title: Manager – Corporate Relations & Outreach

Location: JIMS Kalkaji, New Delhi

Reporting To: Director / Founder's Office

Role Overview:

The Corporate Relations Manager will be responsible for building and nurturing strong industry relationships, enhancing campus placements, driving corporate outreach initiatives, and establishing JIMS as a preferred academic partner for recruiters, speakers, and collaborators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Placement & Internship Coordination
  • Develop and execute strategy for campus placements and internships for PGDM and UG programs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with recruiters and HR managers across industries.
  • Coordinate with students and faculty placement teams to ensure readiness and alignment.
  • Track placement statistics and prepare monthly reports for leadership.
  • Corporate Outreach & Partnerships
  • Initiate and manage collaborations with companies for live projects, mentorship programs, guest lectures, industry visits, and case competitions.
  • Represent the institution in external meetings, summits, and forums.
  • Industry Interface Events
  • Plan and execute networking events such as conclaves, seminars, HR summits, and leadership talks.
  • Ensure participation from senior corporate leaders and alumni in academic and extracurricular events.
  • Marketing Support
  • Provide support in developing placement brochures, employer branding material, social media campaigns, and newsletters showcasing success stories.
  • Coordinate with the design and digital marketing teams to build visibility for JIMS’ corporate-facing initiatives.
  • Alumni Engagement
  • Strategically involve alumni in mentoring, hiring, speaking engagements, and fundraising.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications).
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in corporate relations, campus recruitment, or B2B client handling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking with execution capability.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
