Logistics Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities;

·        Coordinate and manage the transportation and delivery of goods and materials.

·        Plan and schedule shipments to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

·        Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping and customs regulations.

·        Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to track shipments and resolve any issues or delays.

·        Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transportation costs.

·        Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.

·        Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

·        Manage contracts and negotiate rates with transportation providers.

·        Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

·        Handle the dispatching of goods to different locations efficiently.

·        Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.

·        Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries regarding logistics matters.

·        Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in logistics and transportation.

Skills and Experience:

• Fresher or 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of freight and transportation management.
• Experience in contract negotiation.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi languages.
• Prior experience in an engineering-related industry is a plus.
