Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Linux System Administrator located in Kochi. The Linux System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and providing technical support for the company's/clients Linux-based systems.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Linux & Email Systems Administrator to support large-scale server and email system deployments. This role involves configuring domains, provisioning Linux servers, setting up email servers and accounts, integrating credentials into software systems, and validating functionality through thorough testing. You will also perform regular system administration tasks and ensure timely updates and maintenance.

The role has a productivity target of configuring up to 20 servers or 100 email accounts per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage domain registrations and DNS records
• Provision, configure, and secure Linux servers
• Set up and configure email servers (e.g., Postfix, Dovecot) and user accounts
• Integrate server and email credentials within associated software systems
• Test and validate outgoing and incoming email functionality
• Perform routine system administration tasks, including security updates and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve server or email-related issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, credentials, and procedures
• Meet daily productivity targets of 20 servers and 100 email accounts

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Linux server setup and administration
• Hands-on experience with configuring email servers (Postfix, Dovecot, Exim, or similar)
• Familiarity with domain configuration and DNS management
• Understanding of mail protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3)
• Ability to test, troubleshoot, and verify email delivery
• Experience managing system credentials and integrating them with software applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet high-volume setup targets and work in a fast-paced environment
