Contract Labour Recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing & Recruitment:

• Identify and attract suitable contract labour through job portals, local networks, vendors, and recruitment drives.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for skill, experience, and cultural fit.
• Maintain a pipeline of skilled labour for urgent and future requirements.

• Vendor & Agency Coordination:

• Liaise with manpower supply agencies and labour contractors to fulfil staffing needs.
• Negotiate terms and ensure compliance with company policies and labour laws.

• Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure proper documentation of contract workers including ID proof, address verification, and employment contracts.
• Maintain records in accordance with statutory requirements (e.g., ESI, PF, minimum wage compliance).

• Onboarding & Induction:

• Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new contract workers.
• Coordinate with operations and HR teams for smooth integration into the workforce.

• Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track attendance, attrition, and performance of contract labour.
• Prepare regular reports on recruitment status, labour availability, and vendor performance.

Qualifications:

• MSW, master’s in human resource management or MBA in HR
• 10+ years of experience in contract labour recruitment or manpower supply coordination.
• Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance (especially in India).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software/tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in high-volume recruitment environments.
• Familiarity with local labour markets and regional languages.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
