Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake and PostgreSQL data models, schemas, and queries.
Develop ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and process large datasets efficiently.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all data platforms.
Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans and implementing indexing, partitioning, and caching strategies.
Work closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and BI teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
Implement data governance best practices, including security, compliance, and auditing mechanisms.
Troubleshoot performance issues and provide tuning recommendations.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud-based data warehousing and database technologies.

Requirements

5 years of experience in Azure Databricks, Python, Etl.
Strong expertise in Pyspark, including data warehousing concepts, Snowflake SQL, and performance tuning.
In-depth experience with PostgreSQL, including indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong understanding of data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, or Terraform.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
