Looking for a Freelance QA Automation Engineer to join a team of rockstar developers. The candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years. of experience . There are multiple openings. You will report into IIT'ans/BITS grads with 10+ years of development experience + work with F500 companies (our customers). Company Background - We are a multinational software company that is growing at a fast pace. We have offices in Florida & New Delhi. Our clientele spreads across the US, Australia & APAC. To give you a sense of our growth rate, we've added 70+ employees in the last 6 weeks itself and expect another 125+ by the end of Q2 2025. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend/API automation frameworks. Build and maintain automated test scripts for Rest APIs and gRPC services. Work closely with developers and product managers to understand features and technical implementation. Perform integration, system, regression, and performance testing on backend systems. Investigate test failures, analyze results, and debug issues. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Ensure the highest level of product quality with minimal defects. Must-Have Skills: 3-6 years of experience in backend/API test automation. Expertise in API automation tools and frameworks (e.g., RestAssured, Postman, gRPC tools). Strong coding skills in Java. Experience working with TestNG or similar test frameworks. Solid understanding of RESTful web services and gRPC protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
