Labour Resources Department (HR) in Real Estate The Labour Resources or Human Resources department in real estate plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the workforce involved in construction, sales, operations, and facility management. Real estate projects are manpower-intensive, involving both skilled and unskilled labor, site engineers, project managers, and corporate staff. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Manpower Planning & Recruitment Forecasting labor needs for ongoing and upcoming construction projects. Hiring skilled/unskilled laborers, site supervisors, engineers, etc. Managing recruitment of sales, legal, admin, and facility staff. 2. Compliance & Statutory Requirements Ensuring adherence to labor laws, contract labor acts, ESI, PF, etc. Maintaining records for audits and government inspections. Coordinating with contractors and vendors for labor documentation. 3. Contract Labor Management Managing third-party contracts, agreements, and payment terms. Monitoring labor attendance, productivity, and grievances. 4. Payroll & Wage Management Timely salary/wage processing for on-roll and off-roll staff. Maintaining wage registers, bonus disbursements, etc. 5. Training & Development Skill development programs for construction workers. Soft skills, safety, and technical training for site and office teams. 6. Employee Welfare & Safety Ensuring safety protocols at construction sites. Handling grievances, resolving disputes, ensuring worker welfare (canteen, housing, medical support). 7. Performance & Productivity Tracking Monitoring labor efficiency and site work progress. Maintaining attendance and productivity metrics. 8. Coordination with Site Admin Teams Overseeing logistics like accommodation, food, ID cards, and PPE. Managing labor camps and on-site facilities.

Roles and Responsibilities To ensure execution of all HR Processes including factory skill level recruitment, Associate Relations, Attendance, Leave, Payroll and all statutory compliance like ESI/PF/Labour Contracts etc. wherever applicable. Maintenance of Leave and Attendance registers. Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies and guidelines Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees Review and ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (eg, interview documents, I-9s) Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager Should liaise with the government officials (Labour commissioner etc. ) to ensure that all the statutory compliance are coordinated and done at site level Manage contract labour vendor/manpower by complying all the statuary requirements. Ensure proper tracking of leaves, attendance of all the employees Ensure that all the welfare activities like Accommodation (Guest House, rental houses etc. ), the basic amenities like regular items, food, water and shelter are arranged and maintained for. Contribute in improvement of process or policies. Maintain compliance & HR MIS tracker Statutory compliance (PF/ESI) Payroll & Grievance handling Desired Candidate Profile Must have at least 4-5years of experience in HR Post Graduate - MBA in HR / MSW is a plus Experience at a Manufacturing Company is required Should have good communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of HR functions, HR best practices, regulatory changes, talent management, Labour Law, new technologies in human resources and employment regulations Should be well versed with Compliance & HR Laws.
