Inside Sales Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Associate to join our K-12 textbook publishing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, collecting, and verifying leads of educational professionals including teachers, department heads, and school leadership across the K-12 sector. You will play a crucial role in our sales process by gathering accurate contact information and building relationships with educational institutions to promote the adoption of our textbooks for grades 9-12. This position combines strategic lead generation with relationship building to drive textbook prescriptions and adoptions in schools nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails to educational institutions.
• Research and identify potential leads, including teachers, department heads, principals, and other school leadership personnel within the K-12 education sector.
• Collect comprehensive contact information, including phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses of educational decision-makers for direct marketing purposes.
• Verify the accuracy and authenticity of lead information through systematic validation processes to ensure the quality of the data.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of educational contacts within assigned territories.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with teachers, department heads, and school administrators through regular communication
• Coordinate with the fulfilment team to arrange direct shipping of textbooks to schools or individual educators.
• Educate school decision-makers about our textbook offerings and their alignment with curriculum standards for grades 9-12

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within the education sector or publishing industry
• Strong phone presence and experience in making numerous calls per day to educational institutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with educational professionals
• Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to track and manage leads

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of the K-12 education system, curriculum standards, and textbook adoption processes
• Understanding of the unique K-12 buying cycle and decision-making processes in educational institutions
• Experience in educational sales or previous work experience in a school environment
• Familiarity with lead verification tools and data validation processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
