Information Technology Project Manager

We are seeking a Junior IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Bhopal. This role involves supporting project management activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are executed effectively and within schedule. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of project management principles, great organizational skills, and be eager to grow within an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT software projects to ensure they align with project objectives and timelines.
• Support the Project Manager in tracking project progress, updating schedules, and maintaining project documentation.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings, ensuring adherence to agile principles.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify project deliverables.
• Identify and escalate potential risks or issues affecting project timelines or deliverables.
• Support the preparation of project reports and updates for stakeholders.
• Ensure all project artifacts are stored and maintained for future reference.
• Assist in fostering an agile and collaborative project environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-1 years of experience in project coordination or related roles in an IT/software environment.
• Basic understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum) and project management principles.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred Skills: Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is preferred.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
• Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
