* Responsible for leading and overseeing procurement activities, supplier management, contract negotiations etc.,
* To identify potential suppliers, conduct RFPs, evaluate proposals, and negotiate favourable contracts for goods and services.
* To ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
* To build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
* To analyse spending patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality.
* To oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* To play a key role in optimising the supply chain, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement in procurement processes
* To develop and implement enterprise-wide procurement strategies aligned with business goals and market trends on a need basis
* To identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and supplier performance issues.
* To provide guidance and support to the team to ensure efficient and effective procurement operations.
* To collaborate with internal stakeholders across different departments to understand their needs, ensure alignment with procurement strategies, and facilitate smooth procurement processes.
* To ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards in procurement activities.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement, track progress against goals, and report on performance to Procurement Head
* Degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
* Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing, and contract management
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Leadership and team management abilities.
* Familiarity with relevant procurement technologies
* Knowledge of market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk management principles
