Job Description

Job Title: Head of E-Commerce

Location: Gurgaon

Reports To: Business Head

Experience: 10+ years (with strong exposure to D2C and online marketplaces)

Industry: Premium Retail / Lifestyle / Fashion / Beauty


About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and digitally-savvy leader to head our E-Commerce business. The ideal candidate will drive growth across our D2C website and online marketplaces like Myntra, Amazon, Nykaa, and others, with a sharp focus on premium brand positioning, customer experience, revenue growth, and profitability. Q-Commerce experience would be preferred


Key Responsibilities:

D2C Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the D2C eCommerce channel (brand website) to deliver top-line and bottom-line growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end ownership of the website including product assortment, UX/UI, merchandising, CRO, pricing, and promotions.
  • Drive website traffic through performance marketing, CRM, SEO, and content strategy in partnership with internal and external teams.
  • Optimize the digital funnel to improve customer acquisition, retention, and repeat purchases.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to ensure seamless customer journeys across devices.


Marketplace & Key Account Management

  • Manage and scale the business across key e-retailers such as Amazon, Myntra, Nykaa, Flipkart, Ajio, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with category managers and account teams to drive visibility, campaigns, and negotiations.
  • Define marketplace assortment, pricing strategy, content quality, and promotional planning aligned with brand positioning.
  • Monitor and analyze performance KPIs, product reviews, ratings, and competition benchmarking.
  • Drive operational efficiency across listings, order fulfillment, returns, and inventory planning in coordination with supply chain teams.


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing eCommerce team (performance marketing, operations, catalog, etc.).
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including brand, merchandising, supply chain, finance, and customer service.
  • Own eCommerce P&L and deliver on revenue, margin, and ROI targets.


Qualifications & Skills:

10+ years of experience in eCommerce, preferably in premium fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.

Strong experience managing D2C platforms and large online marketplaces.

Proven track record of scaling eCommerce businesses.

Deep understanding of digital marketing, performance analytics, and customer experience.

Analytical mindset with strong business acumen.

Excellent negotiation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
