Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Road Signage Board Designer to join our team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, a keen eye for detail, and experience in designing road signage that meets regulatory standards (e.g., IRC, MoRTH guidelines). You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and fabrication teams to create impactful signage solutions for highways, urban roads, and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Creation: Conceptualize and design road signage boards, including traffic signs, directional signs, and warning boards, using software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or AutoCAD.
• Client Collaboration: Work with clients (municipalities, highway authorities, private contractors) to understand project requirements and provide design proposals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to Indian Road Congress (IRC), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), and local safety standards.
• Site Assessments: Conduct site visits (if required) to evaluate signage placement, visibility, and installation needs.
• Prototyping & Feedback: Create mockups and prototypes for client approval, incorporating feedback to refine designs.
• Material Knowledge: Recommend suitable materials (e.g., reflective vinyl, aluminum, acrylic) based on durability, weather conditions, and budget.
• Project Management: Coordinate with fabrication teams to ensure accurate production and timely delivery of signage.
• Quality Control: Proofread and review designs for accuracy, clarity, and compliance before final production.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on signage design trends, materials, and technologies (e.g., retro-reflective films, LED integration).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in signage, wayfinding, or environmental graphics.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or CorelDRAW.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software for technical drawings (preferred).
• Understanding of road signage standards (IRC, MoRTH, or international equivalents).
• Strong typography, color theory, and layout design skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing signage or environmental graphic design projects.
• Nice-to-Have: Experience with 3D modeling (e.g., SketchUp) or familiarity with sign fabrication processes.
