About The Company: ARA's client is a premier interior design firm. It is a division of a very large and prestigious Bengaluru-based construction company. The company specializes in interior design, furniture manufacturing, and window care, offering services across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors. They have close 900+ employees on its payroll and has presence across multiple cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad etc. The Role: GM – Sales Key Responsibilities: Lead sales and business development operations for the Mumbai region, aligning with the company’s sales strategy Responsible for achieving assigned revenue targets across residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail interior segments within the region. Build, manage, and mentor the regional sales team to ensure consistent performance and goal alignment. Develop and maintain strong client relationships with developers, architects, HNIs & corporates. Coordinate with internal teams—design, estimation, manufacturing, and execution—for timely and successful project delivery Track regional sales performance, prepare accurate forecasts, and ensure timely reporting to the central sales leadership Identify and tap into new market opportunities within Mumbai and surrounding geographies Represent the organization in key client presentations, site meetings, and local industry forums Skills Required: Proven sales leadership and team management skills Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities Strategic mindset with ability to drive execution Understanding of pricing models and project cost structures Familiarity with CRM and sales reporting tools Strong team player with excellent time management and planning skills. High level of accountability, professionalism, and integrity Qualifications and Experience: 10+ years of overall experience MBA from a reputed business school
