General Manager – Admission Services (Study Abroad)

Job Summary:

The General Manager – Admission Services will oversee and lead the end-to-end admissions process for students aspiring to study abroad. This includes managing a team of counselors, ensuring smooth application processing, liaising with international universities, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, an in-depth understanding of international education systems, and operational excellence in managing admissions pipelines and partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic and Operational Management:

• Develop and execute the strategic plan for international student admissions.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure timely achievement of enrollment targets.
• Streamline the admissions process for maximum efficiency and compliance.

Team Leadership:

• Manage, mentor, and grow the admissions and counseling teams.
• Conduct training and upskilling sessions on global education trends, visa processes, and university updates.
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.

University & Partner Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with international university representatives.
• Stay updated on admission policies, deadlines, and requirements of partner institutions.
• Attend global education fairs and partnership summits as needed.

Student Engagement & Satisfaction:

• Ensure high-quality student counseling and application assistance.
• Oversee documentation, application submission, interview preparation, and visa counseling.
• Address escalated student concerns or grievances professionally and promptly.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with international education regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling student and institutional data.
• Conduct regular audits of the admissions process to identify gaps or improvement areas.
