About Us

We are a well-established garment and accessories export house committed to delivering high-quality products to our global clients. We are currently looking for a strict, responsible, and experienced Production & QC Manager who can take full ownership of our production floor and quality operations, with a practical, no-frills approach.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing production in a textile, garment, or accessories export house, with complete control over labour teams, helpers, tailors, and QC staff. We are not a highly automated or digital setup—we rely on strong ground-level management, discipline, and basic tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint for reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management

  • Complete supervision of the factory floor – including tailors, helpers, and support staff.
  • Daily planning, scheduling, and monitoring of production according to priorities set by the company.
  • Ensure proper allocation of work to avoid delays, reduce idle time, and increase efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for trims, cutting, and sample corrections.
  • Maintain discipline, work order, and timely completion of tasks.
  • Arrange basic machinery attachments and tools required for production operations.

Labour & Resource Management

  • Hands-on supervision of floor workers and line staff (no middle management).
  • Ensure labour productivity through training, discipline, and close monitoring.
  • Resolve manpower and floor-level issues directly and efficiently.

Quality Control

  • Oversee QC at every stage: raw materials, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing.
  • Ensure adherence to customer specifications and internal standards.
  • Guide QC staff and tailors on quality checkpoints and measurements.
  • Implement practical quality control processes that suit a small-to-mid-size export setup.
  • Maintain clear QC records and daily updates using Excel or Google Sheets.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit daily production and QC updates using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Create simple PowerPoint presentations or reports when needed for internal reviews.
  • Regular coordination with management for approvals, priorities, and feedback.

Required Skills & Qualities

  • Strong leadership and command over ground-level operations.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a large team of workers.
  • Thorough understanding of garment and accessory manufacturing processes.
  • High level of discipline, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Practical knowledge of production flow and quality checkpoints.
  • Comfortable with basic digital tools: Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint (no fancy systems).

Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in a garment/accessory export house (mandatory).
  • Prior experience in handling both production and QC roles.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight delivery schedules.
  • Must be able to take full ownership and lead without relying on a structured line management system.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹210,000.00 per year
