Role Overview

The Fleet & Asset Manager

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Management

• Manage daily deployment and availability of 2W/3W/4W vehicles across hubs.
• Optimize routing and utilization to reduce dependency on third-party vehicles.
• Oversee new vehicle procurement and onboarding based on operational requirements.
• Monitor vehicle health, servicing schedules, battery health (for EVs), and insurance compliance.
• Track fuel usage and EV charging cycles to reduce cost leakages.
• Maintain proper documentation and logs for all vehicles.

Asset Management (IT + Electrical)

• Maintain an up-to-date asset inventory for:
• IT equipment: laptops, desktops, mobile phones, scanners.
• Electrical equipment: inverters, CCTVs, routers, printers, etc.
• Oversee allocation, servicing, repair, and retrieval of all assets across teams and locations.
• Ensure timely AMC renewals, vendor coordination, and preventive maintenance.
• Support new asset procurement aligned with business needs and cost control.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Monitor and report on total cost of ownership (TCO) for both fleet and equipment.
• Analyze utilization trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Submit monthly performance reports on asset health, usage, and expenditure.
• Work with Finance and Ops to plan future capex and opex requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in fleet and/or asset management (logistics experience preferred).
• Familiarity with electric vehicles and basic IT/electrical hardware is a strong plus.
• Experience with inventory tracking tools, fleet management software, or asset management platforms.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel across delivery hubs (as required).
